How do I host a show on Stream Culture Radio?

show concept, genre, 3–5 recent mixes, preferred time slot(s), and any residency history.

What are the audio requirements?

Live or pre-recorded

Stereo WAV/AIFF or 320kbps MP3

Proper gain staging (-14 to -8 LUFS target), no clipping

Clean metadata (artist/show title, episode #, artwork)

How long are slots?

Standard slots are 2 hours. Some shows run 60 or 90 minutes depending on format and scheduling.

Can I pre-record my show?

Yes. Submit at least 48 hours before air time unless otherwise arranged.

Is there a fee to host?

Slots for resident shows may have an annual station fee (covers scheduling, tech ops, hosting, promotion). Exact details are provided in your onboarding email.

Can I play my own tracks and premieres?

Absolutely—and we encourage it, if you hold the rights.

Content standards?

Zero tolerance for hate speech, harassment, or incitement. Keep mic breaks professional; adult language should be limited and context-appropriate.

Can I submit music for airplay?

What gets the best chance of airplay?

Radio edits or club originals that fit our formats, clean metadata, and a clear release timeline. Advance promos are welcome.

We curate. Submission ≠ guarantee, but we listen to everything.

A 7-day international experience focused on music creation, DJ craft, mentorship, and community—held in Ibiza.

Producers and DJs at all levels seeking real-world progress, feedback, and network building.

What’s included?

Workshops, critiques, networking, villa sessions, and access to gear and spaces outlined in the retreat overview. (Studio sessions are not part of the 2026 package.)

Rights, Licensing & Monetization

Are you licensed?

We follow applicable streaming and performance-rights practices for internet radio. Hosts are responsible for ensuring they have rights to broadcast exclusive content, promos, or third-party materials.

Can I monetize my show elsewhere too (Mixcloud, YouTube, etc.)?

Yes—subject to those platforms’ policies and your rights. If a show includes third-party content, you’re responsible for necessary clearances.

Recommended stream quality?

We deliver a stable, high-quality stream optimized for music. If your connection is weak, the player will attempt to adapt.

What gear do I need to broadcast remotely?

Reliable internet (wired preferred), audio interface, DJ mixer/controller, mic, and encoder (software like BUTT, Mixxx, or a hardware encoder). We’ll share settings during onboarding.
​
How do I submit show artwork?

Square 1:1 image (minimum 1400×1400 px), JPG or PNG, no text near edges, avoid heavy compression.
​

Accounts, Billing & Invoicing (For Hosts/Partners)

How are fees handled?

Invoices are sent via email with secure online payment options. Annual/quarterly cycles depend on your agreement.

Can I get a receipt or W-9/W-8BEN?
